PACKED stands for Platform for the Archiving and Preservation of Audiovisual Arts. The platform was founded in 2005 by argos, MuHKA (Museum of Contemporary Art Antwerp), S.M.A.K. (Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art – Ghent) and MDD (Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens).
PACKED’s mission is:
to act as an umbrella organisation for the development and dissemination of knowledge on the cataloguing, preservation and distribution of audiovisual arts and audiovisual documents on art, and to offer related services;
